The foundation of a great day begins with understanding a couple’s needs, preferences and tastes. “I start working with clients at least a year in advance,” Randy says. She gets to know the couple and their dreams for their day. Then she often becomes a matchmaker in her own right. “I hear regularly how the wedding planners I introduce to the couple perfectly understand their wishes,” she says.
When meeting with those considering the most romantic wedding venues California offers, Randy likes to start by taking them on a tour of our 13-acre estate. “I walk the property with them, as if it’s their wedding,” she says. “I show them where the ceremony will take place and where they will walk down the aisle. It makes it very easy for couples to envision their special day.”
The time of year also influences choices, including when the wedding will begin. Many couples want to be married during the magical, golden hour of sunset, so Randy will often schedule the ceremony to reflect the light of the season. “Couples also want to know what their guests are experiencing, so we discuss where the guests will arrive, how they’ll walk to the ceremony, and following the ceremony, how the cocktail hour will look and feel and more.”

We can guarantee that all your invited family and friends from New York will want to attend. “People like to make it a mini-vacation and stay a little longer,” Randy says. Most weddings here welcome between 100-200 people and we can provide blocks of rooms for out-of-town guests at our luxury hotel in Palm Springs.
