Post-match, after a well-deserved handshake at the net, recount the winning point with a refreshing libation at our outdoor Lemonade Stand. Enjoy a timeless moment for a timeless game.
Pétanque
The south of France has introduced the world to many delights: the food of Provence, the red carpet at Cannes, and this exemplar boules game.
Nestled within the gardens of our property, the pétanque courts offer a uniquely Mediterranean-style afternoon with friends, both old and new.
A straw hat to protect from the sun and a glass of Pastis in hand, the game can now begin. Whether or not you keep score is up to you. Either way, we are nearby to refresh your beverage when needed.
Croquet
Like all classic games of form and style, croquet has its own special set of requirements: a freshly cut and neatly trimmed lawn, wickets precisely laid out, and an expertly blended Pimm’s Cup.
Our croquet ground is one of many hidden gems on our property. Guests have been known to spend hours enjoying the game that has been played on the lawns of Oxford and Eton for centuries.

The board is perfectly situated for viewing and is a favored spot to relax, strike up a conversation and enjoy the attempts at détente unfolding on the board.

Speaking of good moves, “our table tennis is the most competitive game on the property,” smiles Charleen Senior, Lemonade Stand Manager. Set inside a large sandbox, it’s also one of our most popular. A surprisingly entertaining spectator sport too, it is easy to understand how the game has created many a friendship.
