It’s an Event!

“An event is not over until everyone is tired of talking about it.”

— Mason Cooley

Of all the things that go into planning an event, the one item on your list that has the potential to have the most impact is your choice of location. When looking for an event space in Palm Springs, there are few destinations that rival the setting, style, and ambience of Parker Palm Springs.

Nestled on a private, oasis-like estate, Parker Palm Springs offers the opportunity to create something truly unique – a branded, distinct event that is both authentic and memorable.

Alexandra Salazar, Associate Director of Sales, says the property is ideal for both niche, intimate gatherings, and larger groups. “Parker Palm Springs is particularly popular with the creative, design, fashion, and entertainment industries,” she says. With the property’s understated glamor, it is the perfect destination for a corporate retreat in Palm Springs.

In the world of hybrid working, Alexandra notes that companies are bringing everyone together every 6-8 months. “The trend now is about creating a gathering culture, rather than a corporate culture,” she says.

Alexandra begins by walking an event planner around the 13-acre property. The indoor and outdoor venues provide a seamless experience, offering plenty of flexibility. “When people see the space we have here, they really come to understand the possibilities on our estate.”

Event Spaces

The property’s indoor meeting spaces include the 3,700 square foot Ballroom and two 1,100 square foot spaces – The Mafia Suite and Brig. Outside, our lush lawns are also popular for tented events and our on-site AV team can set up indoors or outdoors to meet your needs.

Catering

Parker Palm Springs is renowned for its exceptional culinary team who can create fabulous meals while accommodating any dietary restrictions. Themed meals can also be created to build on and extend the day’s discussions. Also, consider a signature cocktail – perhaps from our Lemonade Stand

Events often extend over three-days and two nights, so Alexandra says that it is important to create a rhythm. For example, organizations may want a more casual meal on the first evening, as people settle in from their travel. The more formal, sit-down meal usually works best the second night.

Activities

The fresh outdoor spaces and Palm Springs’ ideal weather provide opportunities for memorable team building activities. Our Pétanque Courts, Croquet Lawn, and Terre Battue Tennis Courts are three popular ways to give colleagues a chance to get to know one another beyond a work environment.

Time spent in the desert means your guests will need an opportunity to cool down and our three heavenly-touch temperature swimming pools are perfect for that. One of our pools is part of our spa, the Palm Springs Yacht Club. Luxurious and sensual, we guarantee it is the only yacht club around for miles.

Popular among design teams is an architectural tour of the mid-century modern homes in the area. Or if you’re looking for a more energetic activity, consider a guided hike of some of the stunning surroundings, or a bike tour of the neighborhoods. Being in Palm Springs also means that if time permits, a round of golf can be easily scheduled.

For Alexandra, retreats and events are about helping brands and organizations move forward and she says the right environment can have a tremendously positive impact on your team. “They won’t soon forget their time here.”
